Parent SUM Logs

Hi,

Is there a logs for the parent SUM pushing an update to the users or endpoint?

Any advice!

    HI,

    All SUMs are pretty much equal they all have the same logs.  The options are:

    1. Use the LogViewer.exe (SUM programs directory), this reads in the logs (C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Update Manager\Logs\SUMLog[timestamp].log)
    2. Read the trace logs:  (C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Update Manager\Logs\SUMTrace[timestamp].log)

    The trace logs don't go back as far as the standard logs by default.

    Also SUMs never push updates to clients, the clients always poll the distribution locations looking for updates a SUM has written out.
