    Hello tedz,

    I'm not sure what it is you want  to know. Maybe the following helps to state it more precisely:

    A child SUM can use a message relay and it can also act as a message relay. All that is needed is that the endpoint components are updated from a CID with the appropriate mrinit.conf.
