When protecting endpoints via the protect computer wizard, I can see the scheduled task is created in the task scheduler on the destination endpoint, however it stalls and does not run.
If I connect to the task scheduler on the remote machine and right click, select run it will go through without issue and the endpoint reports into the console as you would expect.
I am not sure why this would stall on the client machine.
I have checked the prereqs as per the kb article
Task scheduler service is started, remote registry task enabled and windows installer set to manual.
Firewall is disabled in our environment.
This happens on windows 7, windows 8.1 & server 2008 R2.
Any help/ advice would be appreciated.
