Configuring Sophos on slow computers

Hi, we're using the Sophos Enterprise Console (v5.2.2) with the Sophos Endpoint Security and Control for the desktops. We're having some older pc's who, even after a fresh install, are complaining about a pc that slows down from time to time. How would we configure Sophos on thsoe slower pc's?

    a pc that slows down from time to time

    first of all, what's important is not the SEC version but the OS and, perhaps, SESC ones. Anyway, even if it has been confirmed that Sophos' the culprit it'd be necessary to narrow down the cause. I.e. - when is from time to time and how does the slow down manifest itself? Regular intervals, when performing certain actions, at specific times? General unresponsiveness, (certain) programs take a long time to start, unbearable browsing experience?
