HELP - Troj/ByteVer-G

I have Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac, and after running a scan, a single threat came up: 

Troj/ByteVer-G

Filename: 27b66ba2-663b8c53

Action Available: Clean up manually

I went to the website for information on how to clean up the threat manually, and after selecting the virus and unlocking the quarantine manager, the 'Clean Up Threat' button does not become available. I am unable to remove this from my computer using this software, currently. Is this a problem with the way I am using the software, or is Sophos unable to remove this problem?Any and all information would be appreciated.

    Hello Shirona,

    first of all - is this the Home Edition? Not that the removal instructions differ but there's a dedicated forum for it.

    Troj/ByteVer-G is for Windows so not an immediate threat. Anyway - the removal instructions say:

    11. If there are any threats for which the action available is 'Clean up manually', create a custom scan.
    12. Select the areas where the remaining threats reside and add these to the Scan Items.
    13. In the Options tab, select 'Delete threat' from the drop down menu.
    14. Click Done.
    15. Run the scan.
