Problems installing Sophos Endpoint

I have been having some issues installing Sophos on a particular PC, when the executable is run after a while the following screen appears. Sophos will not install, and as soon as you close the notepad window the "uksophosendpoint.exe" process ends. Any clues?

    HI,

    It looks like you're using an installer built with the packaging tool.  That calls the VBScript file you see.  I would suggest that on this machine, ".vbs" files are associated with Notepad.exe, rather than the scripting engine.

    I would open up:

    \Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs\Set Associations

    And check ".vbs" is set to be the scripting host rather than Notepad.
