Hello, is there a way to script the following steps (by a batchfile or a VBScript)?
1. Disabling Sophos Firewall
2. Do an Update
3. Enabling Firewall
Thanks, Stefan!

Because this is another topic i created a new thread describing my problem with the AutoUpdate
but as a workaround i would still be interested in a scripting solution with disabling firewall;updating;enabling firewall.
Hello Stefan12345,
another topic
I'll reply on it there
as a workaround ... a scripting solution with disabling firewall
in general a workaround should only be tried or applied if either the problem is identified but there isn't yet a solution or identifying the problem presumably will take excessive (in relation to the importance of the affected service as well to the effort needed to implement the workaround) time and it doesn't introduce significant additional risks.
This just a general remarks, details and how the above applies on the other thread.
