When adding SEC to a domain, you will need to re-install the console. due the joining, the console will no longer open due to the rights, permission and registry changes from adding it to the domain.

Therefore you need to re-install the console.

I suggest you do backups of the database and registry keys, so whne you re-install all you configurations workstations will be there:

    Start | Run |regedit

HKlocalmachine | software | Sophos | certification manager | certauthstore

Please export the ‘‘‘‘certauthstore’’’’, and save it to a location.

    Start | Run |regedit

    HKlocalmachine | software | Sophos

Please backup the entire folder of Sophos and save it to a location.

Once done, please stop the Sophos SQL service, then go to the following path:

    Windows 2003 – C:\program files\microsoft SQL\ Data\ Sophos

    Windows 2008 - C:\program data\microsoft SQL\ Data\ Sophos

Please backup the following databases: Sophosxx.mdf and Sophosxx.ldf

Once done, please add the server to domain.

Remove the console from the server, import the 'certauthstore' registry key back in, install the console, once done, please stop the SQLservice again, replace the new databases with the old ones, start the service.

Check the update manager if the setting are correct.

All your configurations and machines should be restored.

    Kind regards.
