console on more then 1 pc

Hello,

maybe a stupid question, but is it possible to install the sophos enterprise console on other pc's then the server?

    Hello Jo,

    of course - usually it is called remote console. Basically you just launch the SEC installer on the computer where you want the remote console to run. There's a number of threads in this forum about it.

    You can install the Sophos enterprise console on other machines other than the server, you can install it on windows machines, you cant install the console on a Mac.

    it is prefrerable to install on the server, as the network limitations on the other OS does make it tricky to protect an update the clients.

    example XP only allows 10 network connections at a time. Please ensure the other machines also meet the required specifications of the enterprise console.

    To answer you question you can install the console on other machines.
