MacOSX machines not shown as installed

Hello,

I manually installed several macosx machines, but there still listed as unmanaged. They're not even in the unassigned group. What could be the problem?

    Hi,

    I don't have a Mac client handy, but if you look in the distribution location on the server, i.e, at the file:

    "\\<server>\SophosUpdate\CIDs\SXXX\ESCOSX\Sophos Anti-Virus.mpkg\Contents\Packages\SophosRMS.mpkg\Contents\Resources \mrinit.conf"

    Are the addresses in that file, e.g.:
     

    "MRParentAddress"="<IP>, <fqdn>, <Netbios>"
    "ParentRouterAddress"="<IP>, <fqdn>, <Netbios>"

    resolvable to be the SEC server by the Mac machines?

    I've checked the file and it should be fine. What doyou mean with:

    It's even stranger. I see those Mac machines as installed in their proper group AND they're also in the list with unmanaged machines. Very strange.
