Sophos Only checks to 2% and gets stuck

I have reinsatlled Sophos and not made any difference, it gets stuck in 166 scans and then just hangs its at 2%

Hi thanks for the reply it was falling over because of the hard disk. Ran shk disk and I had bad sectors so fixed and it now scans 100%. Thanks for the responce
