Windowx XP - Antivirus not found

Recently a lot of XP machines are reporting that Anti-virus may not be installed (WSC) although sophos antivirus is installed. All XP are either SP2/SP3. 

Talked to a sohpos tech person who redirected me to KB 42213 which is for Vista only.

Re-install of Sohpos is a quick fix however not scalable for a lot of computers.

Enterprise Console is in a Windows 2003 Server (no AD) and we distribute it thorough NDS share.

Any ideas?

    7.6.20 requires a reboot and SAVXP doesn't update until it has been done. Well, this would require that your machines run without reboot for weeks and you see this as warning in SEC. Just a thought ...
