Sophos Enterprise 5 blocks USB drives on Windows 7 systems

We are having some trouble with Sophos AV on some of our Windows 7 machines where USB flash drives are blocked by Sophos when a user inserts it. The device does appear in Device Manager.

In Sophos Enterprise Console > Device Control > the Windows 7 policy we have made, Removable Storage has been given Full Access. If we click Add Exemption, there is a log showing that their USB drive was in fact blocked despite the Full Access.

The policy is up to date on the machine as is the Sophos client. Normally it is fine but sometimes, Sophos blocks USBs suddenly on some Windows 7 machines.

Is there anything we can check?

Hello nLinked,
first set logging to verbose (you'll have to do this on the client) - but it might not show any useful information.
So if you don't find a hint I'd suggest you call support - you'll probably have to turn on tracing, take a look at Re: Device Control - Phone not detected to get an idea what has to be done.
