Sophos Enterprise Console Errors

I apologise if this is in the incorrect section however I figured it was -

I am having some issues with several machines in the 'Computers with Errors' section which read:

"The folder C:\BLAHBLAH doesn't exist. [0xa0200006]"

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Regards

Lylie

  • Hello Lylie,

    this is usually seen with on-demand or scheduled scans. When the scan is initialized a "what to scan" list is built. If a folder is removed before it is actually scanned the mentioned error is reported. BTW - could you give an example? Normally you just ignore (acknowledge) the error.

    Description: The folder "C:\System Volume Information\_restore{8B0C46C4-2B2B-4A31-9254-C9170C18E24A}\RP1129\snapshot\Repository\FS\" doesnt exist. [0xa200006]

  • Thanks. Likely the snapshot has been deleted before all files had been scanned. As said, you can ignore this.

  • Hi,

    This message appears to have been supressed in SAV 10:

    C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Sophos Anti-Virus\Config \Factory.xml

    <item>0xa0200006</item> <!-- E_FSDW_ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND -->

    It's in the blacklist.   I assume you are running a version prior to SAV 10?
