Safeguard: two partitions of encrypted disk?

Hi there, I'd like to ask whether you think / know if it's possible to merge two partitions of one encrypted harddisk to one single partition without decrypting -> encrypting the whole data. We're currently using Safeguard 6.0.0.1.31 and would like to merge the two partitions using some tool in Windows 7. What would happen if you took let's say gparted or similar, boot from CD and rejoin the püartitions there? Does Safeguard recognize the changes? Will it kepp working / booting the system? Regards Alex

  • Hi Christian, thanks for your reply and hint that I chose the wrong platform asking this. I'll quickly post it to the correct forum. Besides, I already had the same thoughts myself but was hoping someone knows a working (or even officially supported) solution.
