Control Centre install to Windows 7

I just want to be sure I understand this correctly. With the Control Centre installed on a Windows 2003 server, you cannot use the "Protect New Computers" function to install Sophos on a straight out of the box networked Windows 7 computer?

Although you can use group policy to reduce the work, you still need to modify the settings in "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security" on the client Windows 7 computer directly.

Is this correct?

from the article ... installation on Windows 7 computers (is this the one you read?) I understand that protection should be possible. As it says the Windows firewall ports that must be open in order for RMS to function optimally require outbound rules to be configured I assume management will work too.

You can use the Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 7 to create a GPO for the Win7 machines (as suggested here).
