How does one go about modifying the date format within a Report Description?

How do I modify the date format within a report's Report Description? The date is currently displayed in the following format: DD/MM/YYYY and I would like it to be displayed in MM/DD/YYYY.

    Hello,

    are you referring to the output of a scheduled report?

    Formats are controlled by the Regional and Language Options of the user running the report. For a scheduled report this is usually SYSTEM on the management server (you see it in the footer on each page: Report prepared by [user]). The language is set in the Schedule tab.

    Depending on your OS version you can either use the Administrative tab on Regional and Language Options to set the desired format for the System accounts (local system, local service, and network service) or set the values in the registry (HKU\S-1-5-18\Control Panel\International). The value names are iDate, sShortDate, sShortTime and sTimeFormat. See these TechNet and JSI articles for details. Caution: Changing these settings might have unwanted effects.
