Device Control Exemptions

Hi,

Can someone please guide me on how I can add a "Removable Storage Exemption" via my Management console?  I need to allow a single machine access to the USB drive.

    Hello,

    you have to create a group for this machine (and of course put it in there) and assign an appropriate Device Control policy.

    hmmm.....so if I already have an existing group, I couldn't add the machines in that group onto the exemptions list of the policy applied for the group?

    One or more policies can exempt a certain device. A group (except Unassigned which has none) has one and one only [Device Control] policy assigned.  A computer is a member of one and only one group.  

    Thus in order to make a device accessible from a certain computer the device must be exempted from the policy which is assigned to the group the computer belongs to. Although the originating computer is listed in the Device Control events the exemption applies to all computers using the policy-
