Data Control and Google Chrome

Hi all,

I'm in the process of updating some data control policies and have noticed you can't select Google Chrome or any other browser, other than IE and Firefox, as a destination.

I can see them in Application Control, but not Data Control.

Is there any way to add them as a Destination?

  • Hi,

Just a quick note to say that we are looking to add support for Google Chrome in our Endpoint V10.1 release due around April next year. Adding support for additional monitored applications within data control requires a fair bit of testing which is why it is tied into a product release rather than a data or engine update. We are also hoping - still plenty of testing to be done - to add Skype and Microsoft Lync support.

    Best regards,
