Server 2008 and SEC 4.5 not updating

We just discovered an update problem with our Server 2008 which is running SEC 4.5.

It was giving errors like "could not add network connection to \\localhost\blah\blah user null a windows api called returned error 1312.

We were also having an issue on another distribution point which said "unable to write UPD file".

We discovered that both of these servers are running Server 2008 and 3 Microsoft patches were just run.

So, we found out that we needed to set an account to write to the distribution on \\localhost\blah\blah

And on the Domain controllers we needed to modify the "share perms" on the netlogon share on all domain controllers so that an account that was used to distribute could write to that location.

Thanks,

Jason
