Get access to console after promoting server to a domain controller

Hi guys,

I had a server that had the latest version of Endpoint Security & Control installed on it. I then promoted this server to a domain controller, but of course now there is no local SophosAdministrator group so I can no longer get access to the console or uninstall Sophos. Any way around this? Demoting the server is not an option.

HI,

If you find out the SID values of the 3 groups, you can stop the SAVService, edit machine.xml to contain the 3 new SID values, start the service and you should be ok.
