Is any one else seing this alert - Shh/Updater-B False positives

Virus/spyware 'Shh/Updater-B' has been detected in "C:\Program Files\Sophos\Sophos Anti-Virus\Web Intelligence\swi_update.exe". Cleanup unavailable. This is trickling in as alerts but at an alarming rate.

  • As an IT Administrator, I enjoy the mundane work day mixed with a a rush of emails, phone calls, and cubicle cursing as much as the next IT guy. 

    It's the pure enjoyment of not only loving being at the bottom of the "poo hill", but the satisfaction of knowing I decided against Symantec for a "better" solution.  Thank you for brightening my day and my workload.

    Truely, the best way to make sure an IT guy is awake is to provide Him with either a World of Warcraft account or multiple false-positives that continually arrive upon the conference room big screen while the president of the company is in the middle of an Intellectual Property Safety meeting.

    I hope the virus definition programmer is becoming an April Fool's Day professional in his next career.
