need to do a restore

Our install of EM4.7 has got itself in a bit of a mess, so I need to do a restore, what is the best way to go about this?

We're running EM console, manager and NAC on one server with the EM and NAC databases stored on our SQL server.  The server is a Hyper-V based w2k8sp2 box so I can mess with it a fair bit without messing stuff up. I can DR recover the whole box from a couple of weeks ago but would prefer just to restore Sophos.  What do I need to restore?

    So ... what kind of stuff is written to the log? You say that SUM times out when trying to connect to Sophos - does it say something about this in the SUMTrace log? Did you configure a proxy server in the SUM source details? Not that I have any idea at the moment if and why it could make a difference.
