sophos data control function can not start(version 9.7), I was under the center console launchstrategy(version 4.7), but found many of the terminal computer is turned off, the hook on the endpointcomputer starts, still does not start, how does the deal?

    Hello Allan,

    I fear I don't fully understand the terms you're using. I get it that you have problems with data control but I don't see what start means in this context.

    I assume you have configured a Data Control policy (either created a new one or modified the Default) to enable Data Control (BTW: Are you using SCC or SEC?) and it doesn't give the expected results. But I'm blissfully ignorant what it is you expected and what you see as the meaning of hook escapes me. So please try to describe in detail what you did (preferably using the "official" phrases - if you are using a locale other than English feel free to quote it) and in your opinion indicates that it doesn't work.

    i assign a data control policy to user group....(using SEC 4.7)

    but some pc not enable data control funtion..... i don't know what happen....

    Hello Allan,

    does the Data control scanning column contain Inactive or is it just blank? If the former - does the client comply with the policy? If the latter, please check on the client whether the Data control section is present in the SESC (formerly SAV) GUI.
