I am seeing thousands of XML files left behind, all relating to badger:xxxxx on our servers running Intercept-X.

The files seem to be related to the auto-update service. Is there way to keep these  files from accumulating?

    Hello  

    These files are associated with parts of the updating process and are expected to be in that location. Removing these files are not recommended.

    OK, when will they go away?  There are over 3,000 now - taking up space...

    There will be DAT as well as XML files, which contain signatures and other information that Sophos antivirus product use to protect your computer against existing and new potential threats. These files are released regularly and hence we do not recommend to delete these files.
