Enterprise Console not showing current endpoint status after applying endpoint fix for Shh/Updater-B

Hi Folks.

I've applied the fixes (via the script in article 118323) to several endpoints, which appear to be operating normally now, and are locally showing current updates; however, the Enterprise Console is still showing these fixed endpoints as not up to date (as of the false positive - 20/9/2012 8:09AM for me)  & also "Awaiting policy transfer".

Any ideas how to get the cient end points to properly report their status back to the Enterprise Console?

While it appears unimportant, it leaves me not knowing which of the client PCs really are up to date, and thus where to concentrate my efforts on fixing those still in error.

TIA.

G.

  • Hi Jak,

My problem was that my servers could not reach Sophos for updates (which I had not realised was the case), and I was looking at the "Up to date" column, which was showing "Not since <a day ago>"

You are quite correct; I should have been looking at the "Last message time" column on the Computer Details view instead. The computers were reporting status correctly.

    Thanks for your assistance.
