Software is retired - Console 4.7

I am using Console version 4.7 and AV 9.xx.  However my Update Manager is telling me "Software is retired".  Although the Binaries seem to be updating when I view the details of the update manager it tells me that

1. Software udpate failed.

2. Threat detection data update failed

3.Delivery for Recommended.  Access to source update location is denied or unavailable.

I have check the wonderful server 20008 R2 security settings and as a domain admin it shows I have complete access to all folders.

Does anyone have any clues or similiar situations and possible fixes.

    Hello aspenman,

    you should see something like 80040423  Software subscription '<subscription>' contains version  of platform F26F7EC0-1302-4DA7-8B6B-A5383051D41A. This version is retired. You should change your subscription. There should be a version number between version and of but it's missing here (I have a fixed subcription for testing purposes). Anyway - please check the subscription mentioned in the message. Did you subscribe to a fixed version and is Automatically upgrade fixed version software .... unchecked? If not, the subscription will likely get upgraded after a day or so.

    This has nothing to do with your Windows settings.
