Updates to El Capitan Devices failing

Could you please let us know what is the version of the Sophos product you are using? Please check this article which lists the system requirements for Sophos Endpoint protection products.

Unfortunately, Mac 10.11 El Capitan version support is retired. Please check this article for the previously supported platforms. You may have recently received an update about this as we have pulled support for that OS version in our latest release. Upon updating to that version (or attempting to), the update fails with the OS being out of date. You will find that 10.12 (Sierra) is the oldest supported version for Sophos Antivirus.

You can set up email alerts to be sent to your chosen recipients when the product version you are subscribed to is nearing retirement or is retired. Please refer to this link for details. Hope this helps. We do update the retirement calendar for supported platforms and operating systems frequently if there are any changes.
