Installing Sophos Firewall in Windows servers 2003 and 2008, is it possible?

Hello guys!

I would like to know if is possible to install the Sophos Firewall client in my server 2003 and 2008? How can I do it? Because trying to deploy in the normal way I cannot do it, because it shows me that the Client Firewall is not compatible with the servers plataform.

Hi,

I don't believe Sophos has a software based server firewall. They now have of course:

http://www.astaro.com/en-uk/solutions/network-security/firewall

but I don't believe that won't help you based on your question. Maybe it would, might be worth a look?

The in-built Windows firewalls are pretty good at least for just locking down ports, I guess it depends what you're trying to achieve but I would just take a look at those to see if they meet your needs first.
