web filter - user complaints about hotel wifi access

hi

we use enterprise console & web fitler on the laptops of our salesforce. just yesterday one of them complained again that they cant access the hotel wifi because the webfilter stopped them of getting to the login page.

any ideas?

    Hello itdept,

    I'm not sure what web filter is as you mention enterprise console & web filter. Are you referring to the Web Protection and possibly Web Control components of the Endpoint software? Anyway, do you have a more detailed description of this the webfilter stopped them? A Sophos message (which one) in the browser window, a browser error (not found or timeout)? What makes them sure it's the web filter (whatever this is)?
