Advice for moving emc to another server.

We currently have our emc (v3.2 i think off hand) on our old server but due to unreliability of it we want to put it on our new server. Is it just a case of uninstalling from old and installing a fresh with the latest version. We dont need to save any of the settings for updates etc as we keep it very simple and only take two minutes to set it up again. I presume the clients with sophos on will update from the new server install once we let the new install find then and do a remote install. Looking for any 'gotchas' before I undertake the task.

Starting fresh is possible, but its not as simple as point hte client s to the new server.
If you want to make it as easy as possible for your self you make sure that the new server has the same name, domain and ip address as the old server. Then you only have move the management server certificate.
