Migration from on prem to Cloud

 Hi there,

This answer might already be on a post somewhere but will ask it anyway. We are moving from SEC 5.5.0 with clients running version 10.7 - We are starting a migration to the Cloud version of Sophos and adding Intercept X on top of it.  Couple of questions

 

When running the migration tool will that remove the current agent off users desktops or is this a script or will there be a client running locally?

Is there a way of mass deploying Intercept X the same as the endpoint?

    The migration tool (if you opt to use it) will download and place your Central Endpoint installer in your current distribution points.  Based on the clients you select in the migration tool, the config generated (also in the distribution points) will determine which clients run the installer.  This will take care of migrating the client software.

    In Sophos Central, you can go to:

    https://cloud.sophos.com/manage/endpoint/devices/computers/all/computers

    and click "Manage Endpoint Software" to add one or more machines to those that have InterceptX installed
