central endpoint block naviguation except for some sites

I'm not sure if there is a way of blocking everything and then allowing a list from the endpoint.

You can setup a website list here:

https://cloud.sophos.com/manage/config/settings/websites-tagged

I.e. tag a list of sites as "allow" and set this tag in the Web Control policy.   

You'd then have to block all categories including "Uncategorized".  Hopefully that would get you close.

i ve added 2 web sites with allow tag to website management

and created a webcontrol policy as follow:

web control activated

additional security options activated

log web control events activated

control sites tagged in websites management added the new allow tag

assigned policy to one test user

the test user still able to access all sites

• Protect against data loss
  • Block all categories

  • Adult and potentially inappropriate categories     block
  • Categories likely to cause excessive bandwidth usage   block
  • Business-relevant site categories     block
• control sites tagged in website management : add and allow sites created in website management

il you have a long list of website to authorize, in settings>website management> add new website customization (add your websites one per line).

don't forget to enforce policy (policiesyourwebcontrol policy>policy bypassed click the switch policy is bypassed it will turn into policy enforced.
