We've received reports from customers regarding software CAPITA SIMS not being able to upgrade successfully when Intercept X/Exploit Prevention feature is running.
CAPITA SIMS is a software primarily used by UK Schools.
Our Development team is investigating. Currently the only workaround available is as follows:
Workaround
- Disable Tamper Protection
- Disable the HitmanPro.Alert Service
- Reboot the Endpoint
- Allow the SIMS Upgrade to proceed
- Enable the HitmanPro.Alert Service
- Reboot the Endpoint
P.S. Don't forget to re-enable Tamper Protection
