  • We have Central and have not ever seen the Enterprise console, but my understanding is that with the on-prem console you get much more control and stability.  I would try asking QC:

He seems to have a really good grasp of the product and what it can and can't do.  (Hopefully he doesn't mind my pointing to him!)  :)

  • Hello ediz hun,

as  has mentioned me (@K_M: you mention users so that they get notified by typing an @ followed by the name) ...

    • SEC is on-premise, without a special setup (or "exposing" your management server) you can manage only endpoints (while they are) on the LAN. The management component (RMS) is different from the one in Central (MCS)
    • SEC manages only devices, not users (i.e. policies don't follow users)
    • SEC doesn't automatically enforce policy compliance
    • SEC permits the use of different Endpoint versions and controlled roll-out
    • SEC doesn't integrate with other products (Web Gateway, XG, SG, and so on) and addition of new features (e.g. Intercept X) takes some time (at least at the moment)
    • SEC allows more granular control, and is likely better suited to manage thousands and tens of thousands of endpoints

Just a few points off the top of my head. Do they trigger any specific questions?
