Is there more information of en when File Encryption (USB storage) is coming in Central?

As of now the Sophos Central client is managing Windows Bitlocker for the drive encryption. Currently we do not have any update on Sophos central file encryption.

Our team is working on the Sophos Central File Encryption (For external drives) option, it might be available from 2018 (No Definitive ETA available as of now).

The roadmap to deliver File Encryption in Sophos Central has unfortunately been canceled. Customers who need file encryption capabilities can still enjoy the extensive file encryption functionality in SafeGuard Enterprise.

Thanks very much for the update. I had been chasing our Sophos account manager but not had a reply. Now I know why.
"enjoy" isn't a word I would use to describe SafeGuard! I can see it may work really well for some environments, but it's not totally suited to ours.
