Data Loss Prevention Rules

On the sophos central console, we have registered quite a few windows and mac laptops. Generally all policies set under "Endpoint Protection > Policies" work fine on most Windows laptops. But I do not see the DLP rules (created using "Add Policy > Data Loss Prevention feature") working on mac. Can someone please clarify if these rules are honoured only on Windows laptops?

Also we have registered ubuntu laptops under "Server protection" since endpoint-version did not have linux. Even though there are provisions to create "Data Loss Prevention Rules" I dont think the ubuntu laptops are honouring them. Please confirm if this is supported.
