Non-AD Sync user vs AD Sync user

When we did the trial of Sophos Central, we didn't set up SD Sync. So we have 3 users that now have duplicates under users. The non-AD Sync users are Super admins. But when we try to change the setting for the AD Sync user, it's greyed out.

My questions are:

Can I delete the non-AD Sync users?

Will that allow us to set the rights setting for the AD sync user?

I was able to delete the original users, and keep the AD Sync user. It worked for 2 of the 3 users.

Is there a way to send a log in notification to that user, to set them up with a password?
