Console selection for Sophos Server Protection

hello  everybody,

what kind of console should I have to use for use the Sophos Server Protection (Enterprise) product?

1) Sophos Enterprise Console Or, 2) Sophos Central 

And if Sophos Enterprise Console 5.5 already installed as trail based then will the Real License work on this Trail (should the real license be paste over the trail license ) ?

    Hello Riyad,

    the Server Protection Datasheet shows the different platform support and features available with On-Premise vs. Cloud.

    Going from trial to real in SEC is just replacing the credentials.

    Yes I have seen the Server Protection DataSheet before but after your reply I have seen more deeper. Yes, I found out the way for Server Protection Enterprise matter.

    Going from trail to real in SEC after replacing the credentials will all the past setup for trail will be same after it become real !

    Hello Riyad,

    all the past setup
    SEC just sends the credentials to the backend, the backend determines whether your license is valid and what's contained with it and returns the applicable information. When you change your license or license credentials SEC won't modify your setup - except those parts associated with features not included in the "new" license. E.g. if your real license doesn't include EXP, editing the Exploit prevention policies won't be available and previously defined policies will no longer be visible.

    all the past setup and then license actions on SEC for server protection backend are now crystal clear to me. Also got your point on except those parts.
