ADSync fails to save config or update

Have a large AD and only need to synce one sub doamin, when i try to select only that domain i get the following error message saying there was error.

"Failed to persist LDAP filters. Reason: An error occurred while sending the request."

Anyone know what this means or how to fix it?

Also my sync to Central is failing with the following

HTTP request to api-CloudStation-eu-central-1.prod.hydra.sophos.com/.../getForestConfig error: An error occurred while sending the request.
HTTP request to api-CloudStation-eu-central-1.prod.hydra.sophos.com/.../setForestConfig error: An error occurred while sending the request.
HTTP request to api-CloudStation-eu-central-1.prod.hydra.sophos.com/.../setForestConfig error: An error occurred while sending the request.

 

Anyone help with this?

    bump on this, my AD Sync is also not syncing.  I have no filters, in fact I've used the set to default button on all three screens. but when I finish in the configure window, I get a pop-up message that says: Failed to persist LDAP filters.  Reason: object reference not set to an instance of an object.
