Managing Firewall does not work

Hi,

if we go to manage firewall and click the Manage-Button we first got the following message:

"Please wait, Your CFM Account will sync in few minutes."

After a few minutes I got this message:

"You are not authorized to access Sophos Central Firewall Manager. Get in touch with your primary administrator to get the rights."

I checked that several times. I am the primary admin and have the rights to manage Firewalls.

What's my mistake?

  • I had a ticket raised.

    From support:
    "Just to reiterate, we have taken the following steps to resolve the issue:

    Development team has migrated the partner account data to resolve the issue. 

    If you face any trouble with regards to this issue, please bring it to our notice with the same service request number within 14 days so that we may reopen the case log and assist you further."

    We have 4 firewalls at various client sites. I can only see one of them. and cannot manage the firewall. I have given up pursuing this as it isn't working.

    In contrast, We use Meraki and Unifi for other client sites.
    I will not be recommending any more of these Firewalls as remote management is not working as intended, the dashboard is also horrible compared to the competitors.

  • I would rather recommend Central Management instead.

    Did you look at Central Management? 

    Using the Central Admin Platform to manage your firewalls?
