Hello,
Unable to browse the internet if Sophos Internet Scanning Enable. Once Sophos Internet Scanning Disabled you can browse the internet using the browser. Please see screenshot below...
Computer Details:
Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit
Unable to browse if Sophos Internet Scanning (Web Protection) Enable.
Can browse the internet if Sophos Internet Scanning (Web Protection) Disable.

Please login to your Sophos Central Console, and check the following:
1. Click on Endpoint Protection.
2. Click on Policies.
3. Select the Web Control policy which is enforced to the reported machine.
4. Click on Settings.
5. Under Acceptable Web Usage,
You will find the following options and check which one is selected:
a. Keep it clean
b. Gentle Guidance
c. Conserve Bandwidth
d. Business Only
e. Let me specify
If it is Let me specify, Please check if any category is blocked.
