change tamper protection password

Unfortunately , you could not set the Tamper Protection as you would desire its based on Random password generation. You may View the Tamper protection of the PC where Sophos Cloud Endpoint is Installed on Sophos Central Portal and it would different as the rest of the user systems.

How can I find the password in sophos central? I need step by step instructions for a Mac pls.

Login to Sophos Central.  

Click on Computers on the left hand menu.

Click on the name of the computer in the main window.

Under Tamper Protection, click on View Details

Click in the Show Password box to see the password.

Login to Sophos Central.  

Click on Computers on the left hand menu.

Click on the name of the computer in the main window.

Under Tamper Protection, click on View Details

Click in the Show Password box to see the password.

That's very close but for me I needed to do this.

log into Sophos central

on the left hand column:

click on "manage protection"

click on "computers"

Click on the computer in question

Scroll to bottom of the web page

Now I can turn off tamper for that computer or see or change the tamper password
