Request for Enhancement: Add Customer name to Sophos Central Admin

I have a list of 48 customers on my Sophos Central Partner dashboard.

When I select one and Launch Sophos Central Admin for that customer, I would like to see that customer's name appear in the heading on the resulting dashboard.

That would give me the assurance that I am, in fact, working in the context of the appropriate client.

I am trying to figure out how this essential UI element is missing and I just can't....

  • Hi,

At the top right of the Dashboard, under the logged on user name, I see the company name which is the same as the "Name" found on this page: https://cloud.sophos.com/manage/account/contact-details.

    E.g.

    Regards,

    Jak

  • Well, my Sophos Central Partner page is on the top, and yes my company information is displayed as you pointed out.

I have selected to launch the dashboard of my client, Stan Bergman.

Regrettably, in his portal on the bottom, my company information is again displayed - not his.

At the very least each of the tabs should say something like, "Dashboard for:  <customer name>", "Alerts for: <customer name>", etc.

For example, here's how Symantec handles this:

On top is the PMC where all customers are located, on bottom is Stan Bergman's account - and his customer name appears on each page (and yes, as MSP, my email address is associated with each account - which is another confusing aspect of this product offering).
