Peripheral Control blocks printers and fingerprint scanners

The goal is to block USB flash drives but when the policy is set up, printers, even network printers and fingerprint scanners are blocked.

    Thank you for reaching out to the Community. May we know what is the detection type? If you can also share screenshots of the alert/error for these devices being blocked, that would help.

    On Sophos Central, under the Peripheral Control policy, which peripheral is currently set to block? Is it the "Removable Storage"? If yes, and the devices you mentioned are being detected as such, you’ll need to add a "Peripheral Exemption". You may refer to this TechVids video for more details.
