Blocking Smartphone which used as USB storage

Question

Hi, 
 i want to block (by default) all removable storage devices. If i block the categories "Secure removable storage" and "Removable Storage" it blocks USB Sticks and HD, but not Smartphone storages. if is just plugin my Samsung Smartphone, i have full access. 
 If i block additional MTP/PTP the Smartphone is also blocked, BUT also Webcams, Printers and so on. We have thousands of PCs, so we would have to define thousands of exceptions - this makes no sense. 
 So it would be a helpful feature to block USB Smartphone storages with a separate category. 
 Or is there another solution to manage this ?

Hi,

Further checking, the only way to disable Removable storage device on phones was to disable the options for MTP/PTP however since you have some webcam in your environment. The suggestion here is to create a separate policy for those systems that don't have a webcam to them. And yes I agree with you that defining those devices for an exception is not possible here.
