Sophos Update Cache master/slave topology

The said set-up isn’t possible since each of every update cache needs to have internet access as designed on central to download the updates.

For those who managed the on-prem solutions, EM Library and its replacement Sophos Update Manager (SUM) used to support this scenario.  Update Cache does not, that said, the update caches, at the branch can use a proxy, so I suppose, they would be able to update from a caching proxy. 

What is benefit of the solution?  What are you trying to achieve with this config out of interest?
