Hello everyone,
I have some questions regarding Sophos Central Computer groups:
- Is it possible for a computer or server be part on 2 or more groups at the same time?
- Is it possible to create some kind of automatic group assignation rule based on parameters like IP address o IP range? If not, what could be an alternative for this?
- Is it possible to import computer groups from Ad sync and/or azure AD Sync?

- Is it possible for a computer or server to be part of 2 or more groups at the same time? No, it's not possible as it’ll cause a conflict when applying the policy on a certain device which
- Is it possible to create some kind of automatic group assignation rule based on parameters like IP address o IP range? If not, what could be an alternative for this?
No, it's not possible, only device hostname can be added and this is by design.
- Is it possible to import computer groups from Ad sync and/or Azure AD Sync? - Yes, it's possible to import all your groups Using AD Sync. You may refer to this Link for more details about AD Sync.
