Removable media blocked by policy but bit-locker is enabled?

Hi, 

is there an option to block all removable media unless the data is encrypted. for example filevault or bitlocker.? 

currently testing the policy, Removable storage -> set to block.

all removable media is blocked: this is ok so far

The USB media with bitlocker activated is blocked. --> would like to allow these devices.

The hardware encrypted USB media is allowed as policy ok as -> Secure removable storage. is set to allowed. 

we have sophos Intercept X Advanced with EDR

    iron key is enable due it is encrypted hardware removable media, toshiba is blocked as it is not encrypted 

    ASMT is also blocked but was enabled by bitlocker to go

    Hi

    The USB devices with BitLocker encryption are detected under "Removable devices", you can allow from the central dashboard with the Device ID from the peripheral control policy.

    This indeed will work. but with this you have no control over the encryption being enabled / disabled,
    but you allow the "bitlocker to go" USB drive to connect as exception.

    this was my last resort, for some drives. as used by our organisation.

    we don't have a policy to filter on the encryptions state of an attached drive. It would have to be a Feature Request to have it considered to be added into the product.
