Win10 laptop hacked and can not login

It seems my Windows 10 laptop was hacked and the device does not recognize my password any more. How can I use Sophos Home to remove this virus under such situation?

If you are able to login into your system, you will need to install Sophos Home and then run a full system scan as mentioned here. In case you require any assistance, you can also reach out to our Sophos Home support team they shall be able to help you with this further.

The device is now locked because it refuses receiving my password.

In that case, I would suggest you to login into the safe mode and try to scan the device.

Your login password is rejected,it may be the reason why the password was changed by a hacker,i suggest you unlock Windows 10 password quickly,try some free software,like chntpw and Trinity Rescue Kit.
